Why the list is short
Every piece we add has to beat the one it replaces. That is a slow way to build a collection, and the reason we carry ten styles instead of a hundred. It also means we can spend on the parts nobody photographs — the bound seam inside a coat, the hand-linked neck on a knit, the collar that still lies flat after forty washes.
The cloth comes first
We start with the fabric and design backwards from it. Extra-fine merino. Pre-washed linen. Double-faced wool that needs no lining. When the cloth is right the cut can stay simple — and simple is what still looks correct in five years.
Unbranded on purpose
You will not find our name printed on anything we sell. The label is inside, where a label belongs. What you wear should read as yours, not as advertising.
