A double-faced wool blend with enough weight to fall straight from the shoulder.
Cut long and a touch oversized, the overcoat drops from a clean shoulder with no padding holding it up — the weight of the cloth does that work. Notch lapel, concealed placket, two welt pockets at the hip.
The cloth is brushed on both faces, so there is no lining to twist at the arm. Seams are bound rather than overlocked, which is why the inside looks as considered as the outside.
